I joined the 7-day Spiritual Yog Retreat at Rishikesh Yog Darshan, and it was one of the most peaceful experiences of my life. What stood out for me the most were the evening outdoor yog and meditation sessions—sometimes by the Ganga, sometimes in the mountains. Practicing in nature brought so much calm and clarity. The morning sessions were powerful, with cleansing practices, pranayama, and asanas taught by very experienced and humble teachers. Their authenticity and knowledge made every class meaningful, even for someone like me who already practices regularly. I loved how every day included a beautiful outdoor lunch surrounded by nature. It felt like a perfect break from the usual routine. The food was truly sattvik, tasty, and very fresh every single day. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the hall for indoor practice was spacious with a peaceful vibe. The staff was extremely polite, cooperative, and always ready to help with a smile. The final evening was unforgettable — a spiritual musical night with live instruments that filled the whole space with devotion and joy. It was the perfect way to end the retreat. My 7-day retreat at Rishikesh Yog Darshan turned out to be one of the most transformative experiences of my life. The highlight for me was the teaching style — especially Gautam sir, who guided our evening Hatha Yog sessions. His understanding of body alignment and corrections for perfect postures is exceptional. Just a week with him improved my practice more than months elsewhere. The meditation sessions with Uttam sir were completely unique. He introduced us to different meditation techniques, and for the first time, I genuinely felt a deep spiritual connection and inner calmness. It’s rare to meet a teacher who can take you to that space. Every morning started with cleansing, pranayama, and asanas, followed by delicious sattvik meals. The outdoor lunches at quiet nature spots were refreshing and gave us time to slow down. Accommodation was very comfortable — clean rooms, hygienic washrooms, and a well-maintained hall for practice. The staff team was kind, respectful, and always ready to help, which made the entire stay smooth and homely. The final evening musical satsang was magical and full of positive energy. I and my husband attended the 4-night Rishikesh Yog Darshan Retreat from October 10th to 14th, 2025, and would love to share our heartfelt experience. The intentions and positivity of the organizing team truly deserve 5 stars. Their warmth, sincerity, and dedication were felt in every detail - from the yoga sessions to the excursions. Two humble suggestions that we’ve already shared with the team: 1.The massage venue could be improved to meet basic comfort standards. 2.The meal schedule could be better balanced - dinner was often after 9 p.m., and the gap between lunch and evening yoga felt a bit short. We trust the team will take this feedback constructively, as they were very understanding about it. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful - the food was delicious (we enjoyed it thoroughly as Indians!), the weather was good, the stay was comfortable, and the excursions were peaceful and thoughtfully chosen. From having meals in the wild to meditating by the holy Ganges, the retreat offered both physical challenge and deep mental calmness. Even my husband, who’s a non yoga practitioner, successfully completed the program:) Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn authentic yoga practices, experience a humble exploration through Yogic cleansing inside-out, and reconnect with themselves through nature and spirituality  -whether you come solo, with your spouse, or with friends, you’ll well taken care of.
